Greek police have arrested two Albanian citizens suspected of the murder of Irakli Davella, which occurred on December 15, 2024 in Thrakomacedhones, Greece. The two Albanians are accused of executing Davella, while Albanian citizen Edi Lulo, whose real identity is Etmond Hysa, was also seriously injured during the incident.

Hysa has a long criminal history in Greece. He was convicted of robbing the Athens Bar Association in 2011, along with two other Albanians, from which they took a large sum of money of 404,493 euros. In addition, he was accused of robbing a medical clinic in Pagrati, Athens, from which equipment worth 110,000 euros was taken.

After serving his sentence, he was repatriated to Albania, but was most recently living in Dubai and arrived in Greece on December 9 under the identity Edi Lulo. He is also registered in Albania under this identity and owns a business in Durrës.

The arrest of two Albanian citizens was made following investigations conducted by Greek authorities to uncover the murder and possible links to other criminal activities.
