The Albanian sentenced to 10 years in prison in Italy is arrested

The Italian authorities have managed to arrest an Albanian citizen who was wanted since 2014, because the Venice court imposed a security measure of "imprisonment" for 10 years and 8 months.

The Albanian, whose identity is not disclosed, was declared an international wanted man, as the Italian authorities suspected that he might have left the territory.

Carabinieri stopped him while he was driving in Roseto degli Abruzzi in the Teramo area. At the time of the arrest, he presented the officers with an authenticity document, which is being checked, but since the first check, the police have found anomalies.

He was then sent to the police station in Zhulianova and subjected to photo identification, where it was established that he was the escaped Albanian who had eluded the authorities for ten years.
