Dozens of residents of the Çerrava Administrative Unit in the Municipality of Pogradec, rose in protest this Saturday.
They say that the trucks that damaged the road have become a big concern.
According to them, the amortization of the road was done by the passage of heavy tonnage vehicles owned by a company for the processing of stone and granite which transports large loads of inerts several times a day through the main road of the village.
They say that the lives of the residents, mainly children, are also at risk.
The administrator of this unit, Olger Ibi, also reacted to the protest, who admitted that the institution of the municipality is aware of this problem, announcing that they have a budget plan for the construction and rehabilitation of this road, which has been without intervention for 25 years.
