It is suspected that he committed suicide in Britain, the Albanian immigrant's family members did not receive any answers from the investigations
The family of a detained Albanian immigrant says they want answers about how he died.
Alfred Dosku died in hospital in Redhill, Surrey, on 17 November 2023 after being found by immigration center staff who tried to revive him.
A jury inquest at Horsham Coroner's Court, West Sussex, will be held into the 37-year-old's death.
Dosku's cousin, Ledisa Hysa Dosku, said: "We just want to know what happened", BBC writes .
During a pre-inquest review, senior coroner Penelope Schofield said the inquest would look into issues surrounding his death.
Hysa Dosku said her cousin was "very smart", adding that the family did not understand how he ended up in the immigration centre.
"He felt the last conversation with his brother when he talked to him, he was ready to go back. He was ready to join the family ," she said. She added that Dosk's death was "completely incomprehensible".
Legal representation for the government and Serco were also present at the hearing, which set a further pre-inquest hearing for June.
Practice Plus Group, a health care provider that rated Mr. Dosku on his arrival at the facility and had staff involved in resuscitation efforts will also be invited to appear at the inquest.
The investigation is scheduled to take place within December of this year on a date to be decided.
