Renowned actor Leonardo Di Caprio has often called on his social media for the protection of the Vjosa River from HPPs, sharing photos and videos.

In the show "Shock" on Euronews Albania, the topic of the announcement or not of Vjosa "National Park" was treated.

Invited to the show, analyst Baton Haxhiu said that Albania does not have to listen to the calls of foreigners, including Leonardo di Caprio, who appeal to the government to declare Vjosa as a "National Park".

Analyst Andi Bushati said that the construction of hydropower plants on the Vjosa River should not be allowed, as they destroy the biodiversity of the area.
