A 56-year-old woman of Albanian origin was pulled unconscious from the sea area of Artemis beach on Saturday afternoon.
The 56-year-old woman was given first aid by a lifeguard and was then taken by ambulance to the General Hospital of Athens "KORGIALENIO - BENAKEIO EES" where she was pronounced dead.
The Central Port Authority of Rafina, which conducts preliminary investigations, has ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Laboratory of the University of Athens.
