The well-known Vlonja actor, Vasillaq Godo, has passed away at the age of 81.
He is one of the founding actors of the "Petro Marko" theater in Vlora, in 1962. He graduated from the High Institute of Arts for actors in 1967. He has performed over 90 roles, being one of the main actors of this theater.
He stood out for his realistic acting, with a full voice, preferred to bring to life epic, heroic figures, judiciously interweaving the majestic with the humane sides with artistic sense.
Some of his most prominent roles are Hodoja in "Lidhur si fisheke gherdani", Batoja in "Jatagani", Isa Boletini in "Besa e trojev", etc.
