Father Anton Belushi, the clergyman, leaves the spiritual life of Arbëresh residents

Father Antonio Belushi passed away today at the age of 90.
Otherwise known as the "spiritual father of the Arbërs", Antonio Belushi had been suffering from a serious illness for a long time, as the news was received with bitterness by the Arbërs community in Italy.
Educated as a cleric, he preserved the values of the Albanian community, the history of the custom and dedicated his being to the people of Arbëresh, with humanitarian activities for Albania, but also a strong voice for Kosovo.
Also, Belushi will be remembered as the author of 25 scientific works on the culture and ethnography of Arbëre.
