"A third of refugees are Albanians"/ Debate on Albanian immigrants in

In a television debate held between British journalist Piers Morgan and American influencer Candace Owens, a clash erupted over the number of young Albanians seeking asylum in the United Kingdom.

Morgan stated that "1 in 3 refugees arriving in Britain are young males from Albania", raising questions about immigration policies and the capacity of countries of origin to retain their citizens.

The statement was immediately opposed by Candace Owens, one of the most prominent voices of the pro-Trump conservative movement in the US. She demanded that the figures be verified by US authorities in London.

"Does anyone have this statistic? If it's not true, do we have an Embassy in London? We should have at least seen an official response from them if this is not correct," Owens said during the debate.

She further added that if this statistic proves accurate, the question arises as to why Albania, a country promoted as the "Maldives of Europe" and a tourism miracle by international media, fails to keep young people within the country.

"That is, the country that is promoted all over the world as a fantastic tourist destination, cannot maintain its youth? Why is no one talking about this?", she emphasized, implying a lack of transparency and institutional response to the phenomenon.
