The director of the Lezha Police, Vehbi Bushati, has been dismissed from office because he did not submit the form for the declaration of wealth.

As part of the vetting, the senior leaders of the State Police must declare their income and expenses from the moment they took office.

AMP decision for Vehbi Bushati:

The removal from the positions defined in Article 6 of Law 12/2018, as amended, of the subject of assessment, Mr. Vehbi Bushati, acting as Director of the Local Directorate of the Lezhë Police, in the General Directorate of the State Police.

The reasoned decision in writing is notified to the Evaluation Entity and the General Directorate of the State Police within 15 days from the day following the announcement of the decision.

This decision is published on the official website of the Police Supervision Agency, in accordance with point 8, article 56, of Law 12/2018, as amended.

An appeal against this decision is allowed within 45 days from the date of notification, in the Administrative Court of First Instance in Tirana.
