After the kilometer-long queue of vehicles, the Greek side adds counters in

For many hours, the exit of the Kakavija border crossing was blocked. Dozens of vehicles could not pass, creating a kilometer-long queue, while citizens waited for the procedure.

The passage of citizens was made difficult by creating chaos as a result of the Greek side lacking service at the counters, which created a queue of vehicles at a distance of 4 km.

After the large influx and the request of the Albanian Foreign Ministry, the Greek side has increased the counters, starting the passage of citizens with an accelerated procedure.

Unlike the Albanian side that operates with four counters, the Greek side had only two counters in service, two at the exit and two at the entrance.
