The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Fier, completed the investigations and sent the citizen Bashkim Plaka for trial after he is accused of stabbing his son, Nari Plaka, an event that occurred on May 28 of this year.

The 69-year-old is charged with the criminal offenses of 'Grievous Injury' and 'Domestic Violence'.

"Due to the injuries received, the citizen NP underwent surgical intervention at the Lushnja hospital. After the investigations, it was found that the BP citizen also committed the criminal offense of domestic violence to the detriment of his wife", says the prosecution.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Fier, completed the investigations for criminal proceedings no. 792/2024 and sent the citizen BP for trial for the criminal offenses of 'Serious Injury' and 'Domestic Violence' provided for by Articles 88/1 and 130/a/1 of the Criminal Code.

In cooperation with the judicial police, this prosecutor's office made possible the legal documentation related to the event of 28.05.2024, where the citizen BP stabbed the citizen NP, residing in the village of Gjazë, Lushnjë, with a knife in the abdomen.

Due to the injuries received, the citizen NP underwent surgical intervention at the Lushnja hospital. After the investigations, it was found that the BP citizen also committed the criminal offense of domestic violence against his wife.

In the following, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier expresses its full commitment to the rapid investigation and bringing before the legal responsibility of persons who commit criminal acts of domestic violence, in order to prevent more serious events in the future. .
