The number of people detained by the Police in connection with this conflict has reached 3. The 27-year-old injured AJ was also arrested in the act

Two firearms are seized, 1 pistol with which the injured man shot and 1 revolver with a grinder, with which he was shot by one of the arrested.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against Life and Person of DVP Korçë, in cooperation with the services of the Pogradec Police Station, following the procedural actions carried out in connection with the disclosure and documentation of the event that occurred on the afternoon of 01.02.2024, in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, arrested in the act the citizen AJ, 27 years old, resident of Buçimas village, Pogradec.

From the entirety of the investigations carried out, it results that during a conflict with weapons that occurred for weak motives, between this citizen and two other citizens DM, 32 years old and KL, 27 years old, (who after numerous checks and negotiations with family members surrendered to the Police and were arrested) citizen AJ, was wounded by a gunshot, who is currently in the Trauma hospital, Tirana.

A pistol belonging to citizen AJ and a revolver with a grinder belonging to citizen KL were seized as material evidence, which were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
