The number of victims from Covid-19 in the country increases again, less

The number of victims from Covid-19 in the country is increasing again compared to the day before.

The Ministry of Health announces that five people have lost their lives from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while the day before there were only two casualties.

After conducting 1867 tests, 100 new cases were identified  

Currently 173 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals, 14 in intensive therapy, of which 4 patients are intubated.

"The situation of COVID19 in the last 24 hours is as follows: 1867 tests have been performed, of which 100 citizens have tested positive.

Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities:

34 cases in Tirana, 9 cases in Korça, 6 cases in Kavaja, Gjirokastra, 4 cases in Fier, Lezha, Vlora, Librazhd, 3 cases in Elbasan, Has, Vora, 2 cases in Shkodra, Kurbin, Berat, Saranda, Gramsh, Skrapar, Poliçan, 1 case in Kukës, Lushnje, Mirditë, Tropojë, Mallakastër, Roskovec.

In the last 24 hours 587 citizens have been cured, bringing the number of cured to 102,171 since the beginning of the epidemic.

Currently 173 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals, 14 in intensive therapy, of which 4 patients are intubated.

Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 5 citizens have lost the battle with COVID19: 2 citizens from Vlora, 1 citizen from Gramsh, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Korça, aged 55-86 " , announces the Ministry of Health.
