The average salary increase, the expert: Rama does not decide with a magic wand, studies are needed
Economy expert Selami Xhepa commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement about the increase in the average salary in the country.
Invited to the show "Open" on News24, Xhepa said that such a step is taken only after a study by experts, as such a measure brings implications for businesses and public finances.
He stated that such a decision will put the private sector in front of a great pressure, which according to him is not known if it has the possibilities for such an increase.
" Increasing the minimum wage cannot be done with the magic wand of either the prime minister or anyone, no matter how long he is. This is decided by studies and experts, because this has implications for everyone, for business and public finances," he said.
