New details have come to light from the murder of Albanian Armando Beqiri last night in Iceland. The young Albanian from Tepelena, was executed entering the gate of his house in Iceland, leaving behind a child and his pregnant wife.
So far, police have escorted three people suspected of having a hand in the execution. Two of those arrested are foreigners, in their 40s, while the other is in his 50s, from Iceland.
It is suspected that the murder took place due to the disruption of drug deals, even though the victim had been living in Reykjavík for 7 years, where he had started a new life, far from problems.
He had obtained Icelandic citizenship and started a business dealing with physical protection while as a football enthusiast, he was an ardent supporter of the Icelandic national football team.
Beqiri was killed a few minutes before midnight on Saturday, after he parked his car in the garage, and was heading to the main door of the apartment. A car approached him from behind, from which he was shot several times in the back, neck and head, leaving him dead on the spot.
