The news was announced by Socialist MP Pandeli Majko, who says that this was realized with the understanding of Lazim Destani, who is also its donor.

"The " Eagle" of the former square of Tirana will be placed at the Gostil roundabout, at the entrance to Kukës!

This was achieved thanks to the understanding of my friend Lazim Destani (who is its donor), the approval of Edi Rama and the cooperation of the Municipality of Tirana! Albert Halili, the Mayor of Kukës as the protagonist of this process is coordinating the work for the installation of the "eagle"!... All done!", writes Majko.

'The Eagle', a work cast in heavy steel, 10 meters high (the eagle, 6 meters high and with a four-meter base) was installed on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Independence in a ceremony organized at the time by Prime Minister Berisha and Mayor Lulzim Basha.
