A serious event occurred shortly after the massacre in Velipoja. As a result, four people lost their lives and two others were injured.

The armed conflict took place between the owners of two hotels that were located close to each other. The parties allegedly clashed over sunbeds yesterday afternoon. 

The victims are Kujtim Ferracaku, and 2 members of the Gocaj family, Xhovani Gocaj, Edmond Gocaj. Myzerim Zeneli, a 20-year-old deck chair employee, also remained dead.

Kujtim Ferracaku is the father of Arjan Ferracaku, who was killed in an assassination attempt in 2018. While the injured are Hasan Ferracaku, Kujtim Ferracaku's brother and Elmedin Dyli.

After the serious event, numerous police forces have armored Velipoja yesterday. Shkodra Police Director Niko Brahimaj through a statement to the media gave details about this event.

He said that more than one weapon was used in the conflict and that the police seized security cameras to uncover and bring the perpetrators to justice. Brahimaj emphasized that the conflict was for weak motives and took place in front of the "Gocaj" hotel.

"At around 00.30 minutes in Velipoja, a very serious criminal event took place. The event took place outside the Gocaj Hotel, where due to the conflict with instant weapons and for weak motives. Weak motives, I must say for due to the division of ownership over the premises or over the sand surfaces used for the placement of tents and sunbeds.

As a result, Kujtim Ferracaku, 59 years old, and 2 members of the Gocaj family, Xhovani Gocaj, 25 years old, Edmond Gocaj, 38 years old, died. Myzerim Zeneli, a 20-year-old chaise longue employee, only 20 years old, also died. Hasan Ferracaku, 54, and Elmilind Dyli, 17, were injured in the serious incident.

Police took action and arrived at the scene. More than one weapon was involved in the events. A pistol was seized. A number of security cameras were seized. "Very soon there will be people arrested" , said Brahimaj.
