New details have emerged regarding the tragic death of the 14-year-old Albanian, Aurora, in Italy. Italian authorities have arrested the victim's boyfriend, a 15-year-old man, who is suspected of being involved in the incident that resulted in her death. Aurora fell from the terrace of an attic on the seventh floor of a building in Piacenza on the morning of October 25.
The autopsy of her body will be performed today at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pavia, in order to clarify the circumstances of her death, including whether there were signs of violence from her lover.
The family members of the 14-year-old have stated that her relationship with the teenager was filled with threats and abuse, mentioning that she was forced to seek medical help for hemorrhaging as a result of the violence.
In her honor, friends and school staff have placed bouquets of flowers and white balloons at the entrance of the educational institution, leaving memorial messages such as "you will always be in our hearts".
