Among the companies controlled by SPAK, in addition to the apartments and businesses of Erion Veliaj's family, was also the company of the mayor's friend, Elman Abule.

Journalist Ola Xame, invited to MCN TV, said that based on SPAK's investigations, Elman Abule's company received permission to build a palace in the Kombinat area's orchard, for which there have also been protests from residents.

"From the data we have managed to secure according to the investigation leads suspected by SPAK, it results that citizen Elman Abule owns six companies in Albania, mainly in the field of metal processing, with the raw material iron and several other companies with the raw material aluminum, copper, but also companies in the production of power plants.

What connects citizen Elman Abule with Mayor Erion Veliaj is the company "Fidalba", founded in 2011, but for four consecutive years there has been no sales activity.

But then it turns out that on January 10, 2024, this company is the construction entity for a seven-story building in the Kombinat area, where there was also a protest about it, both from the residents of the building and from the 'Bashke' Movement, since it was the only flowerbed.

"What makes this suspicious was that Velija had refused to grant permission for that flower garden and then, at the moment when his friend's company was building on the same plot, he gave approval for the permit for this flower garden," said Xama.
