Veliaj covers the potholes of Tirana before May 14, the electoral asphalt leaves him in the "mud"
Just before the start of the campaign for the local elections, the municipalities of the country usually direct the expenses for the improvement of the road infrastructure in the territories they administer.
The municipality of Tirana has done the same, as the roads with potholes are often paved in the capital.
The lack of asphalt is mainly noticed on rainy days due to mud and water-filled potholes. But before the May 14 elections, it seems that the municipality has decided to cover some potholes on another road. It is about Prenkë Jakova street in unit number 7 in Tirana.
As it can be seen from the images of Gazeta Express, the road was paved the day before at night. However, it seems that the asphalt was not enough for the entire road, which, although it is not very long, has not been paved all of it.
Residents of the area say that the asphalt laid on this road was left over from another alley, creating the impression that the completion is a half-baked job.
