PD MP, Ervin Salianji decided to appear this afternoon at the Police Directorate of Tirana, on "Myslym Shyri" street, a day after the decision of the Court of Appeal that sentenced him to 1 year in prison.

It is learned that Salianji will be sent to Fier prison to serve the sentence of 1 year in prison set the day before by the Court.  

After filing the request of the Prosecutor's Office in the Assembly for the court decision against MP Ervin Salianji, the request for the execution of the decision was submitted to the General Directorate of the State Police at noon this Friday.

Ervin Salianji was sentenced yesterday, Thursday, September 26, to 1 year in prison for making a false report against the former Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj. Since 2018, when the wiretapping of Agron Xhafajn was publicly denounced, more than 50 court hearings have been held in the span of 6 years.
