The Chairman of the Central Elections Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, proposed a platform for the implementation of the diaspora vote, from the registration of Albanians living abroad to the way they vote.

At the end of the meeting by the working group for Electoral Reform, Celibashi said that two components were discussed where the first was related to the procedures for registering voters from abroad through a special application or portal administered by the CEC and the second component was related to with the voting method.
