Murder of Rayyan Alwan, family members do not claim the body, it can be buried

Rayyan Alwan, the 24-year-old Palestinian woman who was tragically murdered by her father in a rented house in Tirana, may be buried in Albania. None of her family members have expressed interest in taking her body to her final resting place.

Police sources indicate that the girl's relatives have been notified through liaison officers, but none of them have requested to receive the body. Currently, the victim is in the Tirana morgue, and if the family does not receive her within the legal deadlines, she will be buried in Tirana.

Rayyan and her father, Fadi Alwan, had arrived in Rinas on February 19 and moved into a rented apartment on Gjon Muzaka Street. According to investigators, on February 22, Fadi Alwan killed the girl with several stab wounds, then fled Albania to Greece and then to Amsterdam. It is suspected that he may have traveled to Lebanon and has not yet been arrested.

Rayyan's body was found by the owner of the apartment five days after the perpetrator left. Initial investigations had reported that the husband had killed his wife, but it was later revealed that it was Rayyan's father who had executed him. Fadi Alwan has been declared one of the most wanted persons for murder, while the police continue the search for his capture.
