Police action in the North, Sweden: There is no tolerance for suspected

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has stated today that police operations in the north of the country will continue with intensity, leaving no room for tolerance towards suspected terrorist acts.

His statement comes in connection with the recent attack on the "Ibër-Lepenc" water channel and the new police actions in the Zubin Potok area.

During the day, Sveçla together with the Minister of Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi, visited the village of Varaga in Zubin Potok, where they were informed by experts about the situation on the ground and the damage caused in the "Ibër-Lepenc" canal area.

The minister emphasized that the current operations aim to illuminate the event and identify the persons responsible for the recent attacks, including the arrest of the suspects involved. He expressed his determination that the institutions of Kosovo will not stop until justice is decided for these acts that are considered dangerous for national security.

Meanwhile, Kosovo Police units are continuing raids in several locations in Zubin Potok and its surroundings, gathering evidence and additional information to clarify the circumstances of the incident. It is learned that police operations are focused on neutralizing any further threat to the country's security.
