The Basic Court of Pristina assigned one month of detention to the three accused for the murder of Liridona Ademaj.

According to the Court's announcement, Naim Murseli had also given the gun to Granit Plava to commit the crime.

This further implicates the position of Mursel in the crime, who, like the other two suspects for the murder, did not speak before the Court, choosing to protect themselves through silence.

Prishtina, December 3, 2023 - The Basic Court in Pristina, the Department for Serious Crimes held a hearing, deciding on the request of the Basic Prosecution in Pristina for the appointment of a detention measure, in the criminal case against the defendant NM due to the criminal offense Aggravated murder in complicity, GP for the felony Aggravated murder and the felony Unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons and the defendant KK for the felony Conspiracy to commit the felony Aggravated murder.

The judge of the Preliminary Procedure assessed that there are grounds and reasons for setting the measure of detention, because there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendants have committed criminal offenses, the same may affect the co-defendant, the victim and the witnesses, as well as the risk of repetition of the criminal offences, in particular the seriousness of the criminal offence, and all of them together have completed the legal basis for imposing this measure against the defendants, therefore the court has approved the request of the Basic Prosecution in Pristina, for the imposition of the measure of detention against the defendants NM, GP and KK and the measure of detention for a duration of 1 (one) month has been assigned to each of them.

There is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant NM, with the intention of depriving his wife of her life in a sly manner, had agreed with the defendant GP to kill the now deceased LM, where previously the defendant NM had armed the defendant GP and had staged the crime of Robbery, which was carried out on 29.11.2023 at around 20:25, in the village of Bernicë, Municipality of Pristina, in such a way that while the defendant NM was driving his car, in where the deceased LM and their two children were, suddenly the defendant GP appeared in front of the car with a mask on his head and a revolver in his hand, where according to the preliminary agreement the defendant NM and the children had gotten out of the car and had left the scene to run away, while the deceased remained in the car, whom the defendant GP had shot at close range with a bullet in the neck and as a result of the fatal wound, the deceased LM had died at the scene, while for these actions the defendant NM had previously promised the defendant GP the amount of €30,000.00.

Against this decision, the dissatisfied parties have the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal, through the Basic Court in Pristina.
