Police and KFOR cars are attacked in the north of Kosovo

The cars of the Kosovo Police and the American KFOR were attacked with glass bottles in Leposavic. The Kosovo police have announced that the cars they were patrolling belong to the Rapid intervention unit together with the American KFOR in the village of Miokovicë.

Further in the announcement it is reported that the cars were attacked with glass bottles. The police, together with KFOR, identified the house of the suspect and arrested him, who then admitted that he blocked the road first and threw bottles. During the search of the suspect's house, an army jacket with a Serbian emblem was found. The car with which the road was blocked was seized, while the suspect was released after being interviewed.


"On 06.05.2024 at around 04:05 on the road of the village of Miokovicë during the joint patrol of the Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU) of the Kosovo Police, together with the American KFOR, a color Seat car without license plates ash blocked the road and then threw glass bottles in the direction of official cars.

The Kosovo Police, together with KFOR, have identified the house and conducted a search where the Kosovar male suspect was arrested, who admitted that he blocked the road and threw the bottle.
