Three months after the attack in Banjska? What is happening with the

This Sunday, it will be three months since the terrorist attack on the Kosovo Police in the village of Banjské in Zveçan. Investigations into this case are ongoing. The Special Prosecutor's Office has refused to show how long they can last and who is investigating other than Kosovo and what are the findings so far, citing the sensitivity of the case.

The events that took place on September 24 in Bansjka continue to remain a mystery. The Special Prosecutor's Office continues to be closed regarding the investigations it is conducting regarding the terrorist attack that was carried out that morning, against the Kosovo Police, where the hero Afrim Bunjaku was killed.

Gazeta Express has asked the prosecutor's office about the course of these investigations and who else is investigating the case, but this institution has refused to answer.

"We inform you that at this stage of the investigation we cannot provide any information, due to the sensitivity of the case. Therefore, we ask for your understanding!", said the spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office, Ekrem Lutfiu.

The heads of state have issued statements several times, through which they have hinted that international investigations are also being conducted for the events that took place in Banjska. In fact, Chief Diplomat Donika Gërvalla said that they are waiting for the investigations being carried out by the European Union, but the EU has never confirmed anything like that.

According to Express Newspaper sources, Brussels trusts the Kosovo Police for this investigation and that they are not conducting parallel investigations.

"We are waiting to be declared about what happened on September 24. We are still waiting and the answer we are still hearing is that we have not yet completed the investigations. I think it should have been completed long ago, because the evidence is very clear about what happened on September 24 in Kosovo, the act of September 24 was carried out with terrorist methods, but it was an open act that attempted to to annex, therefore, to occupy the territory of Kosovo and we expect a very clear language from the European Union and the member states of the European Union that otherwise the confidence to negotiate with Serbia has weakened a lot", stated Gërvalla./Gazeta Express
