Debates over tennis player Djokovic, Serbia's ambassador to US calls Dua

Serbia's Ambassador to the United States, Marko Djuric, in a Twitter post spoke about the world-famous Kosovo Albanian singer, Dua Lipa, and considered her his compatriot.

This happened during a virtual clash with the former ambassador of Kosovo to the US, Vlora Çitaku, who through this post even said that he is proud of him and this post has accompanied the Serbian flag with emoji.

"Leaving the hateful comments aside, I am very proud of our dear compatriot Dua Lipa (emoji-flag of Serbia) even though she may think differently about political issues," Djuric wrote on his Twitter account.

He made this comment while reacting to Çitak with whom he had a fierce debate. It all started after Çitaku broke the news about the Serbian tennis player, Novak Gjokov, in whose caption he wrote:

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" - a well-known phrase from the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell.

Citaku hinted that Djokovic is being favored by the tournament organizers, as it was decided to compete without being vaccinated, unlike other players. Djokovicende has not announced the status of vaccination.

Djuric reacted to Çitak by saying that the latter used hate speech with ethnic motives. He even added that the speech of the former ambassador of Kosovo is "inhuman".
