R&B singer and songwriter Andrea Martin has passed away at the age of 49: 'Forever a Legend'. Andrea Martin, the singer-songwriter who wrote songs for artists like Monica and En Vogue, is dead. She was 49 years old.

Martin's death was announced in a statement shared on her Instagram Story on Monday.

"Dear family and friends, with a broken heart we announce the death of our beauty Andrea Martin, also known as 'Annie,'" the statement said. " Andrea will always be remembered for her passion and dedication to family and friends. Her impact will continue to be felt and heard for a lifetime."
