Wearing socks while sleeping is known to increase blood circulation, but it can also go the other way. It turns out that blood flow decreases if you wear socks for a long time.

2. The hygiene of your feet may be compromised

Sleeping with socks on can lead to poor hygiene. If your socks are too tight or you don't wash them regularly, you're preventing your feet from breathing properly.

Wearing socks made of synthetic materials that are not skin-friendly can increase the risk of infection, so you will need to choose socks made of materials that are skin-friendly. For example, try to choose socks made of cotton. Synthetic materials, such as polyester or nylon, are a big problem.

3. Body temperature may increase

Wearing the right socks is essential because if you don't, you can overheat. If you wear socks that don't allow your skin to breathe, your body temperature can rise – we sleep better when we're cooler.
