YouTube changes strategy regarding TV advertising

YouTube is planning to soon introduce a change to the ads that appear on its television platform, YouTube TV. That is, instead of the current 15-second ads, a 30-second ad will appear. You won't be able to watch it unless you pay $120.

The company said advertisers will have the opportunity to better showcase their products this way. In addition, the company noted that 70% of YouTube Select content is viewed via television. In the future, users will be able to pause the ad for 30 seconds to learn more about the product or service being advertised. It is not known when this change will be made.
