Greek Foreign Minister: The Prespa Agreement cannot have unilateral changes

Greek Foreign Minister Jorgos Gerapetritis has commented on the situation with North Macedonia, as it has been stated that the Prespa Agreement must be respected and that it cannot be changed by one side.

According to this it is an international agreement that the two parliaments ratify, and that in this way unilateral changes cannot be made.

"It is about international agreements that the two parliaments ratified, and this means that it cannot be changed unilaterally.

Even if there is a will from North Macedonia or Greece to unilaterally change the agreement, this cannot happen.

The Prespa agreement was under the presidency of the United Nations, there were representatives of the UN and this gives greater power to the agreement", said Gerapetritis.
