Riots in Zveçan/ The security measure is given for the two arrested Serbs

The Basic Court in Pristina has announced the measure of detention for one month for two people who were arrested during the protests in the north of the country.

 They are suspected to have been part of the clashes between Serbian protesters and members of KFOR in the municipality of Zveçan.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, they are suspected of having committed the criminal offenses of "association for anti-constitutional activity, with the aim of attacking the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo, endangering persons under international protection" and "attacking an official".

" The Basic Court in Pristina-Special Department has decided regarding the request of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo for the appointment of the measure of detention against the defendants RP and DO due to the well-founded suspicion that they have co-committed the criminal offense 'Union for anti-constitutional activity with purpose of attack against the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo', 'Danger of persons under international protection', 'Attack against an official person' and the criminal offense of 'Participating in a crowd that commits a criminal offense and hooliganism', the Basic Court announced .
