Kosovo Serbs Wanted to Travel to Belgrade “to Defend the Country”

Officials from Serbian Ticket (SL), a political organization of Kosovo Serbs, under full control of Aleksandar Vucic, announced on Sunday that they were ready to travel to Belgrade and “aid in the protection of state institutions”.

The leaders of SL gathered in front of the premises of Vucic’s Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in North Kosovska Mitrovica on Sunday afternoon, led by MP Igor Simic and director of the local hospital Milan Ivanovic.

The people scattered after thirty minutes and Kossev reported that a similar rally was held in Zvecan, a little bit earlier on Sunday.

The agency announced that all gathered people received an invitation from their superiors that they have to come to support “President Vucic”, while Serbian pro-regime media from Kosovo reported that the citizens “gathered spontaneously, ready to go to the capital, to defend the state”.
