PM Rama: Repatriation plan is ready; Flights to start as of Saturday

In a video message issued on Monday on his official Facebook page to make public the expanded financial support package for businesses and their employees, in view of the protracted economic shutdown to halt the spread of COVID-19 in the country, Prime Minister Edi Rama also said that the action plan for the repatriation of Albanian citizens who have remained outside the country due to the COVID-19 outbreak is ready and it will be implemented as of this week.

He said that the repatriation flights will resume from the Italian capital, Rome, as of Saturday. Rama reminded all those Albanian citizens who make a return to the country on the need to spend 14 days quarantined in hotels selected for this purpose with their own expenses.
