Serbian FM: Coronavirus Might be Part of Special War Against China

Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated over the weekend that it is possible that the coronavirus is part of a special war waged against China.

He did not try to explain the statement but said that “China is a country that is on the world’s front line against the coronavirus,” adding that the situation worldwide would be much worse had it not been for a serious approach to it and had China did not implement strict precautionary measures.

Dacic, who returned from a visit to China, where he boasted of being the first minister of foreign affairs to dare visit the country that is the epicenter of an epidemic, said that during the visit he was not allowed even to take a walk in downtown Beijing.

“At the meetings, there was no handshaking; the members of the Serbian delegation had their body temperature checked often,” said Dacic, adding that “thanks to the rigorous measures 29,000 out of the 70,000 infected people have already been cured.”

“That is a great achievement,” said Dacic, adding that all the activities in China were planned.

“The fact that we were the first high-ranking delegation to visit China following the declaration of an epidemic, touched the Chinese leadership because we came at a specific and difficult moment for China. And Chinese President Xi Jinping is planning on visiting Serbia in September,” Dacic said.
