US Ambassador Godfrey to Visit Albanian Municipalities in Southern Serbia

US Ambassador Anthony Godfrey will pay a three-day visit to southern Serbia as of Tuesday, and he will visit Vranje, Presevo, Bujanovac, and Leskovac, the US Embassy in Belgrade announced.

To learn more about the political and economic situation of the region, Ambassador Godfrey will confer with mayors, municipality heads, businessmen and other leaders of the region, including representatives of the Serbian government’s Coordination Body for the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac, and Medvedja, as well as representatives of the Albanian National Council, the embassy said.

Ambassador Godfrey will also visit the Migration Reception Center in Presevo, as well as the Serbian military base Jug, the embassy said.
