The case of Armenia and Azerbaijan has shown how dangerous frozen conflicts are and how absolutely powerless the international community is, stated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Saturday, once again using the opportunity to publicly lobby for his idea of demarcation with Kosovo, as opposed to maintaining the status quo, which is advocated by the majority in Serbia.

At the beginning of the meeting with representatives of the National Convention on the European Union Vucic said that the situation worldwide is complex and that this is why it is crucial that an agreement with Pristina is reached and that there is no “igniting of passions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

Vucic stated that “he cannot speak more openly about the estate’s views, so as not to violate national security,” and that the dialogue is important to certain international partners only when they are trying to achieve their own interests.
