Minerals deal with US could be signed within next 24 hours, Ukraine confirms
Ukraine and the United States could sign a minerals agreement within the next 24 hours, once the final details are worked out, Ukraine's prime minister said.

The agreement, which has been reworked, has become a "true partnership pact," said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

The conditions could take into account future U.S. aid as part of contributions to the fund, he said in televised comments.

It has been suggested that the agreement could be signed as early as tonight, writes Skynews .

The exact terms of the deal remain unclear, with the agreement encountering several hurdles - including a now-infamous clash between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump in the White House - which have delayed it.
