Eris Mehmetaj, suspected of being involved in the murder of Renato Hoxhaj, has denied any connection to the incident.
He told police that his car is the same as the one used by the perpetrator. Mehmetaj added that he had lent his car to a friend after he had asked for it and that he did not know what it was being used for now.
The incident occurred at around 06:00 on April 27th when the victim was returning home from his job as a security guard at a construction site. Hoxhaj was shot three times at close range with a firearm.
