Former mayor and DP candidate in the Shkodra Region, Bardh Spahia, has denounced the shortcomings in the services that the Shkodra Regional Hospital should offer.

On social media, he writes that this hospital does not have a magnetic resonance imaging service, while Shkodra is the largest city in the north of the country.

For a long time, the Shkodra Regional Hospital has not had a Magnetic Resonance Imaging service, leaving patients who present themselves at the largest health center in the north without an examination.

While the government continues its propaganda with "free healthcare" and "European standards", the citizens of Shkodra and the entire north are wandering around, without a diagnosis, without help and without a solution! In these hours I have received dozens of complaints about this scandal, to which the only answer doctors are forced to give citizens is, go to Tirana or a private doctor.

The Shkodra region and the entire north do not have a second resonance, even though it is a necessity, considering the high number of citizens who need this examination throughout the year. Every day more and more citizens are seeing how free healthcare exists only in government propaganda, since in reality, illness is paid for dearly, with money, time and often with life!

"This is state abandonment, not health service! Therefore, on May 11, the people of Shkodër and Albanians have only one alternative to end this difficult situation, by voting for the DP and its program that focuses on the citizen," Spahia writes.
