The 24-year-old man was identified and arrested after making direct calls, via TikTok posts, for violent acts, including inciting the burning of a State Police vehicle.

Specialized structures of the State Police, during social media monitoring, found posts published from a fake address on the social network TikTok, where a citizen called for acts of violence.

Immediately, the Cybercrime Investigation Directorate at the Criminal Police Department of the State Police began work to identify the author of these posts.

Thanks to close cooperation with social media platforms and specialized investigative actions, the Cybercrime Investigation Directorate was able to identify the author of the violent material, enabling immediate intervention to prevent the potential incident.

In cooperation with the Tirana Regional Anti-Terrorism Unit and the Durrës Local Police Directorate (Manzë Police Station), citizen DF, 24 years old, resident of the Perimore neighborhood, Sukth, Durrës, was arrested and escorted, who at the end of the actions was detained for the criminal offenses of "Public calls for violent actions" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".

In one of the videos, this citizen called on citizens to watch and follow the moment of the burning of a State Police car, publicly promoting a serious act of violence and attempting to incite dangerous reactions in the public.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Terrorism Directorate is continuing to follow the case, following the relevant procedures according to the legislation in force of the Republic of Albania and assessing the impact and danger of the messages distributed online.
