Drunk guard creates chaos at Korça Hospital, enters rooms, insults

A serious and unprecedented incident occurred today in the senatorial pavilion of the Korça Regional Hospital, where the security guard, in a drunken state, caused panic and endangered the safety of patients and medical staff.

It is reported that the guard entered the ward without authorization and began repeatedly cursing and insulting the patients. His aggressive behavior alarmed the medical staff, who attempted to intervene to stop the situation, but the clashes escalated with the nurses as well.

The climax of the incident occurred when the guard hit a family member of a hospitalized patient, forcing the immediate call of the police.

Law enforcement officers arrived urgently at the hospital and escorted the guard to the police station, where measures are expected to be taken against him.
