TNT explosion in Elbasan, police react: Cameras have filmed the perpetrator

The police have reacted to the explosion of explosives in a neighborhood of Elbasan. The blue uniforms inform me that the footage obtained shows that the explosives were placed by a man who had circulated several times during the evening in front of the entrance of the apartment on the first floor of the building where the explosion occurred.

The police have also questioned the neighbors of the person who owns the apartment in front of which the explosive material exploded. They have also received detailed information about the activities of the family members of citizen AP, in front of whose apartment the explosion occurred.

Police announcement:

At around 00:05, on 01.05.2025, in the “Partizani” neighborhood, on the first floor of the apartment of citizen AP, it is suspected that a small amount of explosive material exploded, while there was no one in the apartment. As a result, only material damage was caused. The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues its actions with the aim of clarifying the circumstances, identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s).
