10 days from the elections, Salianji: Let's beat evil to the head with our

Former DP MP Ervin Salianji has conveyed a message from prison not only to citizens, but also to Democrats, with less than two weeks to go before the May 11 elections.

In a post on "Facebook", Salianji writes that many circumstances that were previously against are now in favor of the opposition.

He appeals to democratic structures that engagement with citizens should be maximal and that the hours of each day should be used for more meetings, more contacts, more communication.

"With the vote, we fall on the head of evil! Work, work, work, meetings, meetings, meetings. When we are reaching the final stage, in the 10 days before voting day, many circumstances that were previously against are now in favor of the Opposition. First of all, not only do we no longer have an isolated DP, but with the strongest possible contacts in the US and with participation in the most important EPP tables. This has already had an effect, because Edi Rama knows well that the bought, captured, blackmailed vote will no longer pass in the eyes of the international community, as if nothing had happened.

The DP program has been well received and has reached the people. Above all, the dissatisfaction of the citizens, the anger to the point of revolt, has reached its peak, and this is the most favorable circumstance for an Opposition. The only thing that could damage this current trend towards May 11 is the DP itself, if it allows negligence, if it slows down, if it takes for granted that the rotation will happen. On the contrary, the hours of each day should be used to the maximum for more meetings, more contacts, more communication. The end of the campaign tends to bring a kind of fatigue, which would be inexcusable. Every gram of energy, up to and including sacrifice, must be put into motion these days.

Every untouched area must be violated. Anyone who can be considered undecided, or not with us, must be invited back. That thought that I'm not going there because I've been there once, must fall. Every democrat, and first of all the leaders, must be a wave higher than the impatience of the people. The 12-year sacrifice of the democrats must be justified by work without stopping. The slightest negligence or complacency would be, first of all, a lack of appreciation for the ordeal of the members, the resisters, of those who faced a regime for 12 years, without work, without receiving anything in return, without selling their souls, hopes and faith. During these 10 days, the streets, the neighborhoods of the country must be boiling with the democrats, with the leaders. In this way, the result will not be lacking. The blame will go to the right one,"  writes Salianji.
