An explosion occurred in the city of Elbasan, on the first floor of an apartment.

It is learned that there were no injuries from the explosion, apart from material damage. No one was in the apartment at the time.

"Around 00:05, on 01.05.2025, in the "Partizani" neighborhood, on the first floor of the apartment of citizen AP, it is suspected that a small amount of explosive material exploded, while no one was in the apartment. As a result, only material damage was caused.

"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues its actions with the aim of clarifying the circumstances, identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police announced.
