The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has recalled the "Corridor 8" project.

Through a post on Meta's social networks, it was described as one of the biggest challenges of his mandate as prime minister.

The first phase of "Corridor 8" was a major challenge for the country and I remember how quickly, as Prime Minister, successive road segments were completed and inaugurated, overcoming enormous financial difficulties.

Segments such as Durrës-Rrogozhinë, Rrogozhinë-Elbasan, Elbasan-Librazhd, Librazhd-Qafthanë were some of these segments that connected the Port of Durrës with Macedonia.

All these works were carried out at prices 10-15 times lower than the extortionate prices of today's Narco-government.
I have always faced great difficulties and overcome them.

After the victory of May 11, we will restore the magnificent infrastructure that Albanians deserve, we do not lack the very successful experience and determination to do this.
