Three people were killed and three others were injured by shootings on Friday in a town near the canton of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Interior Ministry of this canton announced.

Suspect Nermin Sulejmanovic, 35 years old, was found dead by police forces in the area of ​​the northeastern city of Bosnia, Gradaçac. He committed suicide.

"Sulejmanovic killed his ex-wife and two other men, father and son, with a pistol. "He also injured a policeman, as well as another man and a woman in different locations in Gradaçac," announced the Prosecutor's Office in Tuzla.

"Police forces are on the ground. The investigation will be carried out by the public prosecutor in cooperation with the investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs".

"The police found him dead in his car, and the police operation is continuing," Tuzla Canton Interior Minister Hajrudin Mehanovic told Radio Free Europe.

The pursuit of the suspect lasted several hours. He had published details of the murders in two separate posts on the Instagram social network, but those contents were later deleted from the social network itself.
