Berisha announces national pact for youth: Employment within a year, 5 thousand

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a speech in Berat, announced the national pact for youth. According to him, this pact will guarantee every graduate employment in the public or private sector within a year.

"Friends, in the first 100 days we will announce the national pact with and for youth. This pact will guarantee every graduate within a year employment in the public or private sector. This pact implies the creation of career offices in all universities with the aim of their orientation and employment in public and private enterprises. Startup Albania, youth in entrepreneurship, will be the pillar of this pact. A fund initially with 10 million euros to finance the startups of every young person. To finance the projects of every student, his dreams. 5 thousand euros grant for every young person who plans to start a business in Albania.

Grants from the national fund will be used for technological and social startups, but also for young farmers who want to develop their farms. Regional incubators in every major center to bring young businessmen closer to all the facilities for their businesses. The employer who will hire young people will have a 70 percent tax reduction. Yes! Albanians must understand that young people have become like scarce water for us. We will do everything for them to stay, build their nests, their future in Albania. All this, 5 years without any taxes when they decide to return to their country.

The nation in its youth comes only when we take every measure so that young people have every space for their dreams here in Albania. I guarantee that quotas in relation to age groups will be operational as in politics, as in any other field. Young people will be Albania's main promoters of high technology, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies, data centers. Intensive debate with influencers and TikTok will be encouraged throughout the country. Their word, decisions for young people will be made only with their consent. The nation must completely change its attitude towards young people, so that they remain here in Berat, remain in Albania.

Every young couple will have a grant of 30 thousand euros, with which they will pay the interest on the loan for each child. For the first child, a 70 euro bonus. For the second child, 60 euros. For the third child, from birth to 23 years old, every expense will be borne by the state. For the fourth child, the same thing. Eight-hour schools. Schools with meals. Schools with the highest technology. Teachers will not have a salary below 1500 euros. No one should forget that the heart and soul of a nation are the youth, and therefore we are determined to separate ourselves from this period that took our young people away from the country like nothing else in our national history.

I guarantee the citizens of Berat that I am not here today for my political career. No. To be very honest with you. I have made my careers. But I am here on a mission because I am one of you whose soul and heart weeps when I see classrooms without children, when I see the elderly in great loneliness and complete insecurity, when I see pensioners who have melted their lives for Berat and Albania and count the bites. I can never agree with this.

"When farms go bankrupt one after another and I see the fabulous wealth that Berat has, that Albania has, and I see that they are plundered in the most ruthless way by a group of local and central government officials who can't get enough. Who share your wealth with each other. Who disappear hundreds and hundreds of millions of euros," Berisha said.
